is a founding general partner in Intellysis Consulting Group (Intellysis), where
he is leading the partnership in the understanding of the communications
technology and its economic impact on communications startup ventures of the
next generation. Before starting Intellysis Mike was a founding stockholder in
2nd Century Communications, where he served as President, Chief Executive
Officer, and Chairman of the Board. Mike also held several leadership
positions with Intermedia Communications, Inc. most recently as Senior Vice
President, Strategic Planning. Earlier, he was a professor of economics at
University of Missouri and the University of Kansas and a member of the Missouri
Public Service Commission. Mike received his BS degree in mechanical
engineering from Long Beach State and his PhD. in economics from the University
of California at Santa Barbara.
